What is Lyme disease?
Lyme disease is a bacterial infection caused by bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi, carried by deer ticks. Lyme spreads when the infected ticks bite the skin, through which the Borrelia spirochete transmit into the body. Lyme disease doesn’t transmit from an affected person to others. What are the Sign and Symptoms of Lyme disease?
Lyme disease is described in three phases:-
-Early localized disease –with skin inflammation.
