Summers are beloved because they provide you with the opportunity to spend more time outdoors doing the things you love. But prolonged sun exposure can lead to premature aging of the skin, wrinkles, marks, dry skin, and even skin cancer over time. Here we are discussing one of the most common skin damage caused by sun:
What is PMLE?
Polymorphous light eruption is an itchy rash caused by exposure to sun in people who have developed a sensitivity to sunlight. The rash usually appears as red, tiny bumps or slightly raised patches of skin, particularly the back of the hands, the chest and lower legs, but the face is usually spared.
Polymorphic light eruption generally affects adult females aged 20 to 40, although it sometimes affects children less commonly males.
