Acid Nitric :Act best on the outlets of the body where the mucous membrane and skin meet, pain as from splinters. Sticking pains. Pain appears and disappear quickly. All discharges very offensive. Violent cutting pain after stools, lasting for hours.
Rathania :Most indicated remedy for fissures with cutting and lancinating pains in the rectum. Dryness of the anus with sudden stitches in it. Constriction of anus which aches and burns for hours after stools.
Graphites :Patients who had history of constipation, large, difficulty, knotty stools united by mucus threads. Burning pains. Prolapse, diarrhea with undigested substances, fetid sour odor, lumpy stool conjoined with threads of mucus.
Aesculus hippocastanum :The action of this drug is most marked on the lower bowel, producing fissures and engorged hemorrhoidal veins, with characteristic backache and absence of actual constipation. Feels full of small sticks. Buring in the anus with chills up and down the back.
Alumina :Fissure with constipation and much staining, the mucus membrane is thickened and swollen. Even a soft stool is passed with difficulty. Great straining. Evacuation preceded by painful urging long before stool, and then straining at stool.
