  • FACT:- No, homeopathic medicines do not act slowly. Relief from homeopathic medicines can be seen within few minutes to few hours. Response to homeopathic medicines depends on the severity, duration and intensity of the disease.
  • MYTH:- Homeopathy increases the problems before it cures the disease.
  • FACT:- Yes, homoeopathic medicines cause an increase in symptoms which are suppressed by heroic substances and help bring the suppressed symptoms to the surface before annihilating them from the root
  • MYTH:- All homeopathic medicines are same!
  • FACT:- No, all homeopathic medicines are not same though the vehicle used to dispense them is same for example white globules so they appear to look alike.
  • MYTH:- Homoeopathic medicines need many dietary restrictions!
  • FACT:- No, dietary restrictions are only advised if the condition of the patient demands so and it is necessary for the patient’s early recovery. In fact any particular desire or craving mentioned by the patient helps the doctor to individualize the case and hence find the best similimum for the case. Though at times patient is advised to avoid strong coffee or strong fragrance materials to ensure minimum obstacle in the curative action of the medicine.

  • FACT:- No, as homeopathic prescription is based on the concept of individualization thus the medicine is different for everyone on the basis of the symptom of the patient and no two patients are prescribed same medicines to avoid unwanted aggravation.

  • FACT:- No, disease diagnosis is very important in homeopathic prescription as it helps the physician with prognosis and to acknowledge the severity and limitations of the case.
  • MYTH:- Homeopathy is just for humans?
  • FACT:- No, since homeopathic medicines are prescribed on the basis of signs and symptoms of the patient, it also goes the same in case of animals .Veterinary homoeopathy has been used and given good results in all kind of animals for many years.
  • MYTH:-Self medication in homeopathy is harmless.
