What is cavus foot?
It is a condition which is characterized by high arch of the foot that does not flatten with weightbearing. Due to this condition an excessive amount of weight is placed on the ball and heel of the foot while walking or standing.
The deformity can be located in any part of the foot( forefoot, the midfoot, the hindfoot), or a combination of these sites.
What causes pes cavus?
-Malunion of calcaneal or talar fractures
