Hand foot mouth disease is a viral infection which begins in the throat.

Which virus causes hand foot mouth disease?

-Infection is commonly caused by coxsackie virus A16. This disease can spread by person to person

-Hand foot mouth infection is usually an infection of spring season with symptoms starting with mild fever, malaise followed by rashes. It doesn’t spread by animals
