A 65 year old lady named Ms.P.W ( Patient Identification Number –40597) from Ramdarbar (Chandigarh) visited our Homeopathy clinic in Chandigarh on 31st August 2017 for her enlarged nodule in the left side of the neck.
Patient complained of pain in the neck, her TSH levels were also elevated for 2 months, she had body ache with weakness and her appetite had reduced.
Our doctors examined the patient and advised her to go for a FNAC (Fine Needle aspiration Cytology) test and it was diagnosed as Nodular goiter.
She belonged to a low socio-economic class and worked as a fruit vendor to meet her daily expense. We studied her case thoroughly and prescribed medicine on the basis of her symptoms.
The patient was explained that we can help her symptomatically but cure is not possible in such cases.
On next follow up the patient had slight improvement in her complaint of body ache and her appetite had improved.
She reported after 4 months of medication that the pain was better and size had also reduced to some extent.
Patient was better overall in all her complaints. She was advised to repeat her TSH level again. Earlier TSH levels were 7.07 and after taking medicines for 1 year her TSH levels came within Normal range.
