A 39 yr old male patient from Zirakpur (Patient Identification Number – 41645) visited our clinic on 14th October 2018.He was suffering from recurrent boils on his buttocks and left thigh since 6 months. He used to get new boils every week. Character of pus was very offensive and thick yellow. He had checked his blood sugar levels 6 months back which were normal. Patient had taken antibiotics several times but it used to give temporary relief but the boils would reappear.

Apart from this he had complaint of itching in both legs since past 3 years. Itching aggravated at night with burning sensation. He had scars all over lower limbs due to excessive scratching. He was a vegetarian and liked eating spicy and sour food.

Our doctors prescribed him medicine for 10 days and on second follow up his symptom was increased. Patient was asked to continue the medication as it had been just 10 days since he started the treatment. His itching on legs was the same.

After 2 months of medication frequency of boil reduced but persist itching was better. Our doctors prescribed medicine and advised the patient to take it regularly for complete recovery.

Patient reported after 6 months that there were no boils. There was 85% improvement in itching on both the legs. Patient was happy to get relieved from his complaints of recurrent boils.
